Russia launches Glonass satellite

Russia launched a Glonass navigation satellite Sunday night. A Soyuz-2.1b rocket launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome at 10:52 pm EDT (0252 GMT Monday), carrying a Glonass-K satellite. Russian officials said the satellite was delivered to its planned orbit.
