Posted: Sat, Jan 28, 2023, 10:00 AM ET (1500 GMT)
Starship WDR (SpaceX) SpaceX performed a fueling test of its Starship launch vehicle Monday. During the test, SpaceX loaded the Starship upper stage and Super Heavy booster with more than 4.5 million kilograms of liquid oxygen and methane propellants and went through a practice countdown without igniting its engines. The rehearsal was one of the last major testing milestones before SpaceX will be ready for an orbital launch attempt. Another upcoming test is a static fire of all 33 Raptor engines in the base of the Super Heavy.
