Angara launches Russian military satellite

An Angara rocket launched a Russian military satellite Oct. 15. The Angara-1.2 lifted off from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome at 3:55 pm EDT (1955 GMT) and placed the Cosmos 2560 satellite into orbit. The satellite is believed to be an optical reconnaissance satellite.
