Posted: Sat, Sep 3, 2022, 6:10 AM ET (1010 GMT)
SpaceX launched another set of Starlink satellites Aug. 27. A Falcon 9 lifted off from Cape Canaveral at 11:41 pm EDT (0341 GMT Aug. 28) after weather forced SpaceX to delay an initial launch attempt nearly an hour and a half earlier. The rocket deployed its payload of 54 satellites into orbit 15 minutes later. The 54 satellites, one more than previous launches to the same orbit, set a payload mass record of 16.7 metric tons for the Falcon 9.
