Ingenuity Mars helicopter second flight (NASA/JPL-Caltech/ASU/MSSS) NASA's Ingenuity made its second successful flight on Mars Thursday. The helicopter flew for 51.9 seconds, going to an altitude of five meters and moving two meters sideways and back before landing. The flight went as expected, engineers said, who are now considering plans for later, more ambitious flights. The project has a little less than two weeks left in its month-long test window, and could perform up to three flights in that time.
