Posted: Thu, Jul 2, 2020, 8:26 PM ET (0026 GMT)
ISS EVA on 2020 July 1 (NASA) Astronauts completed a set of battery replacements outside the International Space Station Wednesday. Bob Behnken and Chris Cassidy conducted a six-hour spacewalk to finish replacing batteries for one of the station's eight power channels, completing work started on a spacewalk last week. As with the earlier spacewalk, the two worked ahead of schedule and were able to also perform some "get-ahead" tasks to prepare for future spacewalks. The two will perform another pair of spacewalks later in the month to replace batteries in another channel.
