The space agency will rename the Operations and Checkout Building at KSC the "Neil Armstrong Operations and Checkout Building" in a ceremony on July 21, a day after the 45th anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing. The 50-year-old building was used originally to process Apollo spacecraft for launch and is now being used to prepare the first Orion spacecraft for launch late this year.
