Additional ISS spacewalk planned for Wednesday
Posted: Tue, Sep 4, 2012, 6:28 AM ET (1028 GMT)
NASA has scheduled an additional spacewalk outside the International Space Station for this Wednesday to complete work originally planned for a spacewalk there last week. Sunita Williams and Akihiko Hoshide will start the spacewalk at 7:15 am EDT (1115 GMT) Wednesday to complete the attachment of a new Main Bus Switching Unit (MBSU) on the station's truss. The two astronauts attempted to install the MBSU on Thursday's spacewalk but stuck bolts prevented them from completing the work. The spacewalkers are expected to spend up to four hours attempting to install the MBSU, which relays power from the station's solar arrays to other systems.
