Shuttle undocks, prepares for trip home
Posted: Sat, Apr 17, 2010, 8:32 PM ET (0032 GMT) The space shuttle Discovery undocked from the International Space Station on Saturday in preparation for a landing in Florida on Monday. Discovery undocked from the station at 8:52 am EDT (1252 GMT) after spending 10 days there. During that time astronauts performed three spacewalks to exchange an ammonia coolant tank on the station and perform other work, and also transferred several tons of supplies to the station. Discovery is scheduled to land at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 8:51 am EDT (1251 GMT) Monday, weather permitting.
