Space Adventures to offer spacewalks to tourists

EVA outside the Pirs module of ISS (NASA) Space tourists traveling to the International Space Station (ISS) will now have the option of performing a spacewalk while at the station, space tourism operator Space Adventures announced Friday. The company announced that the Russian space agency has agreed to allow tourists to perform a 90-minute spacewalk outside the station, provided that the tourists are in good health and undertake additional training on the ground prior to launch. the spacewalk would cost tourists $15 million on top of the $20-million list price for a flight to the ISS. NASA officials had no comment on the announcement and what impact it would have on station operations or coordination among the ISS partners
