ULA sets date for second to last Delta IV Heavy rocket launch from Florida’s Space Coast

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — United Launch Alliance has set a date for launching its Delta IV Heavy rocket from Florida’s Space Coast.

ULA is planning to launch from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on June 21.

This launch will also be the second to last for the Delta IV Heavy rocket.

The Delta IV Heavy relies on Russian-made rocket engines.

It is being replaced by ULA’s Vulcan Centaur rocket.

ULA recently rolled out a Vulcan Centaur rocket in Cape Canaveral for a static fire test set for this week.
