Weather delays Artemis 2 wet dress rehearsal
Posted: Sat, Jan 31, 2026, 2:43 PM ET (1943 GMT)
Artemis 2 on the pad, 2026 Jan 29 (NASA) NASA has delayed a wet dress rehearsal (WDR) for the Artemis 2 mission. Preparations for the WDR were set to start Thursday evening, about 48 hours ahead of the Saturday night fueling test. However, NASA postponed the WDR by two days, citing forecasts of low temperatures and high winds at the Kennedy Space Center. The delay also means Artemis 2 launch opportunities on the nights of Feb. 6 and 7 are no longer available, with Feb. 8, 10, and 11 still options before slipping the launch to March.
