SpaceX conducts Starlink launch doubleheader

SpaceX carried out two Starlink launches just over eight hours apart. One Falcon 9 lifted off from Vandenberg Space Force Base at 11:51 pm EDT Tuesday night (0351 GMT Wednesday), carrying 24 Starlink satellites. The launch was a rare flight of a new booster, designated B1097. A second Falcon 9 lifted off at 7:56 am EDT (1156 GMT) this morning from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station with 28 Starlink satellites on board.
