SpaceX launches Starlink satellites after 10-day gap
Posted: Sun, Jun 23, 2024, 11:17 AM ET (1517 GMT) SpaceX ended a 10-day launch drought with a Starlink launch Tuesday night. A Falcon 9 lifted off from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California at 11:40 p.m. Eastern and deployed 20 Starlink satellites, 13 of which have direct-to-cell payloads. The launch was the first for SpaceX since another Starlink launch June 8, an unusually long gap for a company aiming to perform nearly 150 launches this year.
