Soyuz launches Progress cargo spacecraft
Posted: Mon, Jun 3, 2024, 11:48 AM ET (1548 GMT) A Progress cargo spacecraft launched to the International Space Station early Thursday. A Soyuz-2.1a rocket lifted off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome at 5:43 am EDT (0943 GMT) and placed the Progress MS-27 spacecraft into orbit. The spacecraft, carrying about three tons of supplies and fuel, docked with the station at 7:43 am EDT (1143 GMT) Saturday.
