Iceye raises $93 million

Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite company Iceye has raised $93 million. Iceye announced the round Wednesday, led by Finnish sovereign wealth fund Solidium Oy and with participation from Move Capital Fund I, Blackwells Capital, Christo Georgiev and existing investors. The Finnish company has raised $438 million to date and has launched 34 SAR satellites, with plans to launch up to 15 more this year. Iceye said it will use the funds to expand its business and develop new products and services.
