SpaceX launches Starlink satellites from Florida

SpaceX launched a set of Starlink satellites early Friday. A Falcon 9 lifted off from Cape Canaveral at 5:12 am EDT (0912 GMT) and placed 23 Starlink satellites into orbit. SpaceX is also preparing for another Falcon 9 launch of Starlink satellites Friday night from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California and a rideshare mission, Bandwagon-1, Sunday from the Kennedy Space Center.
