Kuaizhou-1A launches weather satellites

A Chinese Kuaizhou-1A rocket launched four weather satellites Dec. 24. The rocket lifted off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center at 9:00 pm EST (0200 GMT Dec. 25) and placed four Tianmu-1 satellites into orbit. The satellites are part of a constellation to provide commercial weather services.
