NASA astronauts conduct spacewalk
Posted: Sun, Nov 5, 2023, 11:39 AM ET (1639 GMT)
Two NASA astronauts completed most, but not all, of their planned work during a spacewalk Wednesday. Jasmin Moghbeli and Loral O'Hara spend six hours and 42 minutes outside the station, replacing a bearing in a joint used to rotate the station's solar arrays. That work, though, took longer than expected, and the two ran out of time to complete another planned task on the spacewalk, the removal of a failed electronics unit of a communications system. That work will be deferred to a future spacewalk.
