Falcon 9 launch Starlink satellites, 2023 Oct 13 (SpaceX) SpaceX launched a set of Starlink satellites, setting a modern-day record between launches at Cape Canaveral. A Falcon 9 lifted off from Space Launch Complex 40 at 7:01 pm EDT (2301 GMT) Friday, deploying 22 Starlink V2 mini satellites a little more than an hour later. The launch took place less than nine hours after the Falcon Heavy launch from nearby Launch Complex 39A, marking the shortest turnaround between launches at the Cape since the 1960s.
