Iran launches reconnaissance satellite

Iran announced Wednesday that it launched a reconnaissance satellite. The Iranian government said it launched the Noor-3 satellite on a Qased rocket into a 450-kilometer orbit. The government provided few details about the launch, including its exact time and location, but noted it was carried out by the Revolutionary Guard rather than the conventional military.
