Posted: Sat, Jul 29, 2023, 12:59 PM ET (1659 GMT) Impulse Space has raised $45 million to fund work on in-space transportation systems. RTX Ventures, the venture capital arm of Raytheon, led the Series A round with participation from several other investors. The Series A funding will support the development of Impulse's largest vehicle yet, called Helios, to enable missions going directly to GEO. The company is working on a low Earth orbit demonstration mission, LEO Express-1, launching later this year, and is partnering with Relativity Space on a Mars lander.
