Progress cargo ship launched to ISS

A Progress cargo spacecraft launched to the International Space Station. A Soyuz-2.1a rocket lifted off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome at 8:56 a.m. Eastern and placed the Progress MS-23 spacecraft into orbit. The spacecraft docked with the station at approximately 12:20 pm EDT (1620 GMT). The Progress is delivering more than 2.7 tons of supplies, equipment and other cargo for the station.
