ISS astronauts install solar panel adapter in spacewalk
Posted: Sun, Mar 20, 2022, 1:16 PM ET (1716 GMT) Two astronauts completed a spacewalk outside the International Space Station Tuesday. Kayla Barron and Raja Chari spent nearly seven hours outside the station, completing their primary task of installing adapter hardware for a new solar array that will be added later this year. The astronauts completed that work ahead of schedule, allowing them to do some additional "get ahead" maintenance tasks. A second spacewalk is scheduled for March 23.
