SLS rollout for dress rehearsal postponed
Posted: Sun, Feb 6, 2022, 12:05 PM ET (1705 GMT)
NASA is delaying the rollout of the Space Launch System for a countdown rehearsal by a month. The rollout of the SLS to Launch Complex 39B for a fueling test and practice countdown known as a wet dress rehearsal had been planned for mid-February. However, NASA officials said Wednesday that they're pushing that rollout back to mid-March to give workers more time to complete work on the vehicle. No single issue, they added, caused the delay. NASA is now considering windows in April and May for the launch of SLS on the Artemis 1 mission.
