Chinese rover rolls onto Martian surface

Zhurong rover on Martian surface (CNSA) China's Zhurong rover rolled onto the surface of Mars late Friday, a week after landing. The six-wheeled rover went down a ramp and onto the surface, returning images confirming it made it onto the surface. The rover will now begin science and exploration tasks in Utopia Planitia with six science payloads, including optical and multispectral cameras and ground-penetrating radar.
