SpaceX launches Starlink satellites
Posted: Sun, May 2, 2021, 10:59 AM ET (1459 GMT) SpaceX launched another batch of Starlink satellites late Wednesday. The Falcon 9 rocket launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida, at 11:44 pm EDT (0344 GMT Thursday) and released the 60 Starlink satellites about 65 minutes later. SpaceX has now launched more than 1,500 Starlink satellites, of which 1,434 remain in orbit. The launch came a day after the FCC approved a modification of SpaceX's license for Starlink, allowing the company to operate more satellites in lower orbits.
