Northrop Grumman signs up first customer for OmegA rocket

Northrop Grumman OmegA launch (Northrop) Northrop Grumman announced early Thursday that Saturn Satellite Networks will be the customer for the first launch of its OmegA rocket. Northrop said that Saturn will fly up to two of its NationSat small GEO satellites on that first launch, scheduled for the spring of 2021 from Kennedy Space Center. The launch will also be part of the certification process of the OmegA rocket for national security customers if Northrop wins a US Air Force National Security Space Launch contract.
