Mark Geyer named next director of Johnson Space Center

Mark Geyer will be the next director of NASA's Johnson Space Center. NASA named Geyer to the position May 14, effective May 25 when current center director Ellen Ochoa retires. Geyer is currently an acting deputy associate administrator in the human exploration and operations directorate at NASA Headquarters, and previously served as deputy director of Johnson and Orion program manager.
