Relativity Space raises $35 million for 3D-printing rockets

Relativity Space, a company using 3D-printing technologies to manufacture launch vehicles, has raised $35 million. Playground Global, a fund co-founded by former Google executive Andy Rubin, led the Series B round, with Relativity's past investors also participating. The funding will support continued development of Relativity's Aeon 1 engine and Terran 1 launch vehicle, which make use of 3D printing to lower costs.
