OneWeb wins FCC approval for satellite constellation

OneWeb satellite (Airbus Defence and Space) OneWeb has won FCC approval for its broadband satellite constellation. The FCC said June 22 it approved plans by OneWeb to provide broadband services in the United States, a key milestone in the company's development of its satellite system. The FCC added it is examining several other applications for satellite constellations to provide similar services in the US.
