Bezos unveils Blue Origin orbital vehicle (Blue Origin) Blue Origin, the commercial space company established by Amazon.com founder Jeff Bezos, announced this week it will establish a factory and launch site at Cape Canaveral, Florida. The company said it will build a factory near the Kennedy Space Center to manufacture an orbital launch vehicle it is developing, which will launch from Launch Complex 36 at Cape Canaveral, a former Atlas launch pad.
