Posted: Tue, Sep 15, 2015, 8:16 AM ET (1216 GMT)
Proton M launch of Inmarsat-5F3 (Roscosmos) International Launch Services announced Friday that it was replacing its president, promoting a vice president to lead the commercial launch company. ILS said that Kirk Pysher, who had been the vice president of mission assurance for ILS, is taking over as president from Phil Slack. ILS sells commercial launches of Russia's Proton rocket, but has struggled to remain competitive after a number of Proton launch failures, including one in May.
