Chris Hadfield will retire from the Canadian Space Agency's astronaut corps next month, having transmitted his official retirement notice while still aboard the ISS earlier this year. Hadfield served as commander of the ISS for the last two months of his stay there. Hadfield announced no specific plans for his post-astronaut career.
