High seas delay Dragon splashdown

Rough seas in the Pacific will delay the return to Earth of a Dragon cargo spacecraft by one day, NASA reported Friday. The Dragon was scheduled to depart the ISS on Monday, splashing down in the Pacific Ocean several hundred kilometers from the California coast a few hours later. However, rough seas in the splashdown zone led NASA to delay the departure of the Dragon until at least Tuesday. The Dragon, launched on its CRS-2 resupply mission by a SpaceX Falcon 9 on March 1, will be returning with over 1,000 kilograms of experiments and related equipment from the station.
