Soyuz docks with ISS

Soyuz TMA-04M docking with ISS (NASA) A Soyuz spacecraft carrying three new ISS crew members docked with the orbiting outpost early Thursday. The Soyuz TMA-04M docked with the Poisk module of the ISS at 12:36 am EDT (0436 GMT) Thursday, two days after launch from Kazakhstan, and hatches opened at 4:10 am EDT (0810 GMT). On board the Soyuz were Russian cosmonauts Gennady Padalka and Sergei Revin and American astronaut Joseph Acaba, who brought the station's crew complement back to six. The crew will immediately begin to prepare for the arrival of the first Dragon cargo spacecraft, slated for launch from Cape Canaveral in the early morning hours Saturday.
