Commercial Proton launch delayed again
Posted: Sun, Jan 29, 2012, 8:53 AM ET (1353 GMT) The launch of a commercial communication satellite planned for this weekend has been delayed again because of problems with the rocket, officials said Friday. The Proton-M rocket was scheduled to launch Sunday from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, carrying the SES-4 communications satellite. However, that launch has been postponed due to unspecified technical reasons with the rocket. No new launch date has been announced. The launch was originally scheduled for late December, but postponed because of a problem with the rocket's avionics.
