STS-134 launch pushed back to at least May 10

STS-134: logo NASA has pushed back the launch of the space shuttle Endeavour to no earlier than May 10 as crews work to replace a failed power unit in the orbiter. NASA revised the launch from the 8th to the 10th to reflect the time needed to replace the load controller assembly that malfunctioned during last Friday's countdown and perform testing on the replacement unit and the systems it serves. A May 10 launch would take place at 11:21 am EDT (1621 GMT), although that date could slip as work continues. Managers will determine an updated launch date late this week. Those delays could affect the next, and final, shuttle mission, STS-135, currently scheduled for June 28.
