  • TRW will lay off several hundred employees of its Space and Electronics Group because of decreased work, Space News reported Wednesday. The suspension of work on Astrolink, a broadband satellite project, is the leading reason for the layoffs. The layoffs, scheduled to begin in the next few weeks, will affect up to 10 percent of the group's workforce.
