Ariane launch scrubbed again
Posted: Fri, Jun 25, 2010, 6:37 AM ET (1037 GMT)
Ariane 5G prior to V195 (Arianespace) An pressurization problem postponed Thursday's rescheduled launch of two satellites on an Ariane 5. The launch was scrubbed during the final countdown of the Ariane 5G from Kourou, French Guiana, because of a "pressurization anomaly" with the vehicle's lower cryogenic stage, according to Arianespace. No new launch date has been set for the vehicle. A previous launch attempt Wednesday was postponed because of a launcher subsystem anomaly detected during the countdown. The rocket is carrying two satellites, Arabsat 5A and COMS, to GEO.
