Cosmonauts perform ISS spacewalk

ISS EVA on 2010 Jan 14 (NASA) Two Russian cosmonauts performed a spacewalk outside the International Space Station on Thursday to prepare a new docking module for use. Oleg Kotov and Max Suraev spent five hours and 44 minutes outside the ISS on Thursday, completing their EVA at 10:49 am EST (1549 GMT). The two worked on the exterior of the Mini-Research Module 2, or Poisk, module that was attached to the station in November. The two set up antennas, docking targets, and other equipment that will allow Progress and Soyuz spacecraft to dock there.
