Discovery rolled out to pad

STS-119: rollout (NASA/KSC) The space shuttle Discovery was rolled out to the launch pad Wednesday as preparations continue for its launch next month to the ISS. Discovery, attached to its external tank and solid rocket boosters, left the Vehicle Assembly Building at 5:17 am EST (1017 GMT) and was secured in place at launch pad 39A seven hours later. Discovery is scheduled to lift off February 12 on mission STS-119 to the International Space Station. The crew will install the S6 truss segment on the station and deploy its solar arrays, and also exchange one member of the station's crew.
