Weather delays Delta 2 launch
Posted: Thu, Nov 16, 2006, 8:22 PM ET (0122 GMT)
Delta 2 launch of GPS 2R-15 satellite (Boeing) Poor weather at Cape Canaveral delayed Thursday's scheduled launch of a GPS satellite on a Delta 2. The Delta 2 7925 was scheduled to launch the GPS 2R-16 satellite Thursday afternoon, but clouds and rain forced mission managers to scrub the launch well in advance of the scheduled launch time. The launch has been rescheduled for Friday at 2:12 pm EST (1912 GMT).
