Progress launched to ISS

Soyuz launch (Energia file photo) Russia launched an unmanned Progress cargo spacecraft to the International Space Station on Saturday. The Soyuz rocket, carrying the Progress M-57 spacecraft (called Progress 22 by NASA) lifted off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome at 11:08 am EDT (1508 GMT) Saturday. The spacecraft is scheduled to dock with the ISS at around 12:30 pm EDT (1630 GMT) Monday. The spacecraft is carrying approximately 2.5 tons of food, water, propellant, and other supplies for the ISS and its Expedition 13 crew.
