Posted: Sun, Nov 13, 2005, 11:09 AM ET (1609 GMT) The launch of two communications satellites on an Ariane 5 was delayed Saturday because of an apparent problem with ground equipment. The Ariane 5 ECA was scheduled to lift off Saturday night from Kourou, French Guiana, carrying the Spaceway 2 and Telkom 2 communications satellites. However, the launch was postponed because of an apparent technical problem, about which Arianespace released no details. However, according to some reports the delay was caused by problems with ground equipment used to support the launch. No new launch date has been announced.
