Progress spacecraft on approach to ISS (NASA) A Russian Progress cargo spacecraft undocked from the International Space Station Friday morning. The spacecraft, called Progress-M49 by Russian but dubbed Progress 14P by NASA, undocked from the ISS at 2:05 am EDT (0605 GMT) Friday. The spacecraft then deorbited, burning up over the South Pacific at 7:25 am EDT (1125 GMT). The undocking frees up the docking port on the aft end of the Zvezda service module so that ISS crewmembers Gennady Padalka and Michael Fincke can perform work in the vicinity during an EVA scheduled for Tuesday morning, August 3. A replacement Progress spacecraft is scheduled for launch on August 11, docking with the ISS three days later.
