Endeavour rolled out for STS-113 launch

STS-113 rollout (NASA/KSC) The space shuttle Endeavour was rolled out to the launch pad over the weekend in preparation for its International Space Station crew exchange mission next month. Endeavour was rolled out to Pad 39A of the Kennedy Space Center in the early morning hours of October 12. The rollout was not publicized in advance in accordance with post-9/11 security regulations. Endeavour is scheduled to launch on the STS-113 mission no earlier than November 10. The 11-day mission will install a truss segment on the port side of the station, similar to the starboard truss installed during the current STS-112 mission, and also bring the Expedition Six crew to the station, returning the Expedition Five crew currently on ISS to Earth.
