Proton launch of EchoStar-21 delayed
Posted: Sat, Dec 31, 2016, 10:49 AM ET (1549 GMT)
The latest delay in the Proton launch of EchoStar 21 is not related to an earlier problem with the rocket. International Launch Services confirmed Wednesday that the launch, planned for Dec. 28, has been delayed, but offered no information on the reason for the delay or when the launch would be rescheduled. ILS did state that the cause of this delay is not related to an engine malfunction during the previous Proton launch in June.
