STS-125: EVA #5 (NASA) Astronauts worked on the Hubble Space Telescope for the final time on Monday, wrapping up repairs to the spacecraft that will allow it to continue operating for several more years. John Grunsfeld and Andrew Feustel spent seven hours outside Atlantis on the fifth and final spacewalk of the STS-125 mission to complete work on the Hubble. The two replaced a battery and Fine Guidance Sensor unit on the telescope and installed new insulation, completing all the repair work planned for this final servicing mission. The shuttle will release Hubble Tuesday morning, and will return to Earth on Friday.
