SpaceX launches 49 satellites in a Falcon 9 rocket above Southern California

The successful deployment added more internet satellites to low Earth orbit

After a 48hr delay SpaceX starllink launches a Falcon 9 with dozens of satellites and for the first time ashes of people into space from Vandenberg SFB, CA/USA,  Tuesday, Jan 31, 2023.
 The ashes 5 people will be on the rocket and will orbit Earth for up to 10 years, before crashing back through the atmosphere and burning up.
This is first launch by StardustMe from New Zealand of human remains into orbit sense 1992, when a Nasa space shuttle carried Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry???s ashes.

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Vandenberg Space Force Base on Tuesday, Jan. 31, to launch 49 Starlink internet satellites, the 70th launch largely made to deploy spacecraft for the Starlink broadband network.

The Falcon 9’s first stage returned to Earth several minutes after the launch, touching down on a “droneship” off the California coast. The Falcon 9’s upper stage continued on, delivering the 49 satellites and a separate payload to low Earth orbit.
